Saladin Said (born 29 October 1989), also known as Salhadin Said, is a Ethiopian international footballer who currently plays as a forward for Wadi Degla FC in the Egyptian Premier League.
In this first Ethiopian Premier League season, 2007–08, he scored 21 goals in 17 games, and got top scorer of the league.[1]
In the season 2008-09, he also received this title for scoring 24 goals. He also received the title "Best Player of the League".
In 2010 he was on trial with Serbian side Partizan, but the transfer failed.[2][3] Subsequently, he trialled with FK Vojvodina, but didn't manage to go further than gaining good wishes and complements from coach Zoran Milinković.[4]
In 2011 he scored in the 2011 Kagame Inter-Club Cup game against AS Port from Djibouti five goals in one game.[5]
On 9 October 2011 he got transferred to Egyptian side Wadi Degla FC, who paid 2,040,000 Ethiopian birr, ($240,000 US)[6] ,the highest sum ever had been paid for a Ethiopian footballer.
